Grade Policy
Grading is based off of County and
School Standards.

Classwork: 50%
Homework: 10%
Assessments: 20%
Projects: 20%

Students are allowed to redo

assignments they: 1.Did not
perform well on and 2. Attempted
in full by setting up an
appointment with the teacher.
They will be able to gain back half
the points they originally lost.
Appointments must be requested
within the week the assignment
was handed back.
If a student is in class and assignments
are collected, it is the students
responsibility
to
hand
those
assignments in on the date requested.
All work submitted late (one day after
the due date), the highest score the
student can earn for that assignment is
65%. After 10 school days, the
assignment will no longer be accepted.
No missing assignments will be
accepted after the close of the quarter.

DPMMS Expectations
1. Be in your seat working on the Drill
when the late bell rings.
2. Follow directions the first time they
are given.
3. Show respect to teachers, students
and property.
4. Wait to be recognized before
speaking.
5. Keep hands, feet, and objects to
yourself.
6. Follow all school rules stated in the
handbook.
7. All math work MUST be completed in
pencil!
Your child will have homework most
nights. Please note that all work is due
at the beginning of the next scheduled
class. Absent students will be given 1
day for each day absent to complete
missing work.

For example: In a student is absent

on a Tuesday, he or she will get
their assignment on Wednesday,
and it will be due on Thursday.
