REASON FOR 2 K IMPLEMENTATION

Nylon 6 used by MATE consists of 40

% glass fiber as a substrate (outside
handle).
Nylon6 fiber is very fine slippery
material.
So this substrate offers only a low
adhesion with the paint.

Nature of Nylon 6 with 40 % glass fiber

Properties

Nylon 6 with 40 % glass fiber are tough, possessing high tensile

strength.

Fibres have high elasticity and lustre.

Highly resistant to abrasion, chemicals like acids, alkalis,

organic solvents etc.

They are wrinkle proof.

Pretreatment stage

Sanding with 2000 emery sheets.

2 times IPA wiping.
