Cut blanks 1/4 Thick

1/8 Drill bit.

Carefully drill hole in center.

If its not centered you will have
trouble opening the hinge.

Use a #1 blade and cut the

hinge on the pattern line.

Notice I did not get the hole

centered well in this hinge.

Round over the hinge and

insert a 1/8 wooden dowel.

Trim the dowel a little long.

Apply glue on each end

of the dowel.

Im using thick wood for the box so

I trimmed the top of the hinge to fit the top.

Notice I sanded the dowel flush with

each side of the hinge.

The hinge is glued to the back

and top of the box.

The glue is probably enough

to hold the hinge in place but
you could counter sink small
brass screws for a better hold.

Top of the box open.

1/4 Thick
