Ensemble Performance Assessment
Purpose: To assess musical performance skills of large ensembles.
Assessment Method: To assess musical performance skills of large ensembles.
Assessment will be given to all grade levels periodically throughout the year at the
teachers discretion. Intended focus would be immediately preceding or following a
performance.
Scoring Device/Data Collection: Common Assessment Choral Rubric

Sight-Singing Assessment
Purpose: To assess basic music literacy skills
Assessment Method: Individual performance assessed by teacher with expertise
within field. Assessment will be given to all grade levels periodically throughout the
year. Time frame for assessment will be at the teachers discretion.

Vocal Music Performance Assessment

Purpose: To assess basic singing technique within performance.
Assessment Method: Ensemble performance assessed by teacher and/or
students. Assessment will be given to all grade levels periodically throughout the
year. Time frame will be at the teachers discretion. Intended focus would be
immediately preceding or following a performance.
