Family Updates
Its been a while since our last update, but here we are back reporting what we have been able to do so far and
our learnings. Eliezer turned 8 in March, Julia 10 in July and Natalia 14 on the 5th of August. We continue to
homeschool the kids. We are starting to make college plans for Natalia as she will start her 9th grade in September
and we want be prepared. :-) Health wise, we are okay. A common cold every now and then is to be expected
given the conditions of the environment where we live. We are still in the search for some land out of the city to
build a small house, but prices and locations are not meeting our expectations, so we continue to look. Please pray
for that need.

Sports
This may sound contrary to logic, but we paused the soccer activities until Summer is over. This being our first year
when we are fully invested in doing ministry, we quickly realized that we needed to support those missionaries
that make their way to Nicaragua during the USA Summer. We plan to resume the soccer meetings in September.
We leave you here, however, with some of the pictures of the soccer activities of late Spring/early Summer 2015.

Kids of our community back in May gathered to go play some soccer.

MOTHERS DAY
Mothers day is celebrated on May 30th here in Nicaragua. A group of about 10 youths went out to serenade the
Mothers of the church. It was a lot of fun and appreciated by the ladies. That evening we had a special service for
them and it was good to see some of the mothers who do not know Christ yet, come to hear the Word of God.

The guy in the middle was the loudest with his guitar. :-)

Long night of rehearsing.

Puppets
The puppet ministry continues to be solicited and booked. It is great to support pastors in their local churches.
During the presentation, children that otherwise would not come, attend the service and hear the gospel through
the puppet ministry.

Our puppet ministry has had 4 presentations between April and July. Tipitapa, Managua at Jeremias Church; La
Concha, Masaya at Fuente de Vida Church ; Tisma, Masaya at Jeremias 33:3 Tisma Church; another church in
Tipitapa that I dont remember the name right now. We have been constantly working with the puppets. We all
love it!

Missionaries in Nicaragua
We had the privilege to host or support the
visit of a few missionaries. Our pastor
Matthew Johnson was with us for a week as
we had a Youth Camp with some of the
youth of the Jeremias Church in Tipitapa,
our friend Alice Worthington was with us
and helped with a VBS in Tisma. We also
had the opportunity to help pastor Eric Van
Patten from California with VBS at two
different churches in Carazo. As a result of these interactions, we had the promise of organizing an evangelistic
baseball clinic. We also hope to have our pastor back for our 2016 Youth Camp.

During the day there were breakout sessions

where topics of leadership, following the example of Jesus and Decision Making were
studied.
Thanks for praying for us as we continue to be
obedient to his calling. We are in a learning
process and know that we will keep on growing.
