Short Film Competition

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Closing date for entries: Monday 5 October 2015

Open to experienced as well as emergent filmmakers of two categories: Over 18 and Under 18
The theme La Terra-The Land may be freely interpreted: from Mother Earth to the
Environment, from Traditional Farming to Indigenous Land Rights
Maximum duration: 10 minutes
First Prize for Over 18: $1000 by FILEF plus a Part 1 Elective, Diploma of Screen and
Media Course by the Sydney Film School

First Prize for Under 18: $500 by FILEF plus a Digital Filmmaking short summer course
by the Sydney Film School
Prize for most outstanding performer: Camera 101, a course on acting in front of a
camera, by the Actors Centre of Australia

Other great prizes will be awarded

Selected entries will feature in the FILEF Short Film Festival in November
