March 8, 2010: Monday

There was a common interest in

literacy in the first part of the
morning. Nikola worked on creating
the Serbian Alphabet by memory,
while Risha and Annli helped write
on our weekly Whiteboard. Kieran
was very focused on matching the
appropriate letters with words in a
tile game. Salma wanted to write her
Mom a letter and did so using letter
tiles as guides.

Later, Mary read some books to a group of children that

were interested. Another group of children (Annli, Kasper,
Serena and Nikola stayed in the Art Area during this time.
