Regular Meeting
July 30, 2015
The School Board meeting was called to order by Seth Knox at ACHS at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken with the
following members present: Shane Chaney, Randy Dietz, Bobby Samuel, Gina Noble, and Gary Grammer.
Bro., Seth Knox, and Kim McDannel were also present.
Guests present: Sheryl Dietz and Vernon Drury
Prayer was offered by: Seth Knox
Agenda modification: Review Student Handbook first. Review items B-E on the Administrators Report. John
Parkinson will speak to the Board at the end of the meeting.
Motion made by Randy Dietz to approve the minutes from the Regular meeting held July 09, 2015. Second by
Bobby Samuel.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried.
Motion made by Gina Noble to adopt the Other Graduation Requirements policy presented by Mr. Knox.
Second by Bobby Samuel.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried.
Motion made Randy Dietz to approve changes made to the Student Handbook. Second by Bobby Samuel.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried.
Motion made by Bobby Samuel to accept the Treasurers Report. Second by Gary Grammer.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried
Motion made by Randy Dietz to approve tuition assistance of 50% for an ACHS family. Second by Gary
Grammer.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried.
Motion made by Gary Grammer to approve the budget changes proposed by Mr. Knox. Second by Bobby
Samuel.
VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried
Randy Dietz introduced prospective Board members: Sheryl Dietz and Vernon Drury.
General Consensus to postpone election of Board officers until the August 20, 2015 meeting.
John Parkinson entered the meeting at 7:00 p.m.to provide architectural rendering of the proposed school
building.
General Consensus to adjourn at 7:44 p.m.
