Directions:
Phase 1
You will be placed in a group of three people.
You will each have a specific portion of the Mount St. Helens-A Story of
Succession article to read.
You will be given an index card to write anything that you feel is
important to share back with the rest of your group.
Phase 2
The person responsible for page one will share their information out to
the group first. You can refer to your index card for the material you
want to share. You will have one minute to share.
The other group members are listening only.
After the minute is up, you will write whatever you can remember
below in the space provided for page one.
You will have one-two minute to write.
Repeat all of these steps in phase two with the person responsible for
page two and then page three.
Phase 3
You now should have a summary of all three sections. Answer the
questions attached to your article.
