Bar charts without trends
TASK 1
The bar chart shows the result of a survey of 1000 adults aged 25 and over, who
were asked to mention the factors that cause them stress in modern day life.
There are three main groups of factors as can be seen from the chart : workrelated factors, family-related problems and personal factors.In the first group,
both Getting to work and New technology are mentioned by approximately
40% participants, while 30% of them stated Work-related worries as a
factor.Among all the factors, the highest and lowest rating both go to familyrelated worries, with Moving houses and Problem with neighbors being
mentioned by 75% and 15% survey takers respectively.Other factors that make
up this group are : Childrens future, Home security and Getting
divorced.Personal problems,which is the group with only two factors, is given
as stress-causing factors by 20% to 30% of the total adults.
From the chart, it is clear that family-related problems are the main causes of
stress in daily life of adults.
