O-Ring Identification on Back of Page

O-Rings should be lubricated with Dow Corning #111 O-Ring silicone grease for maximum
life. The demands of your working environment will dictate the need to replace O-Rings,
as well as the frequency of your diving. At a minimum, all O-Rings should be replaced
once a year, or every 400 operating hours, whichever comes first. Exposure to extreme heat
or ozone will cause O-Rings to age prematurely. Helmets and masks which are used in a
heavy oil environment, in jetting operations, or exposed to caustic chemicals will require
more frequent O-ring replacement.

**** Caution–Warning ****

Use only KMDSI original replacement parts. The use of other manufac-
turer’s parts will interfere with the performance characteristics of your life
support equipment and may jeopardize your safety. Additionally, any
substitutions will void any warranties offered by KMDSI. When ordering
spares, always insist on Kirby Morgan Genuine Parts.
