3
they
are
no
longer
allowed
to
celebrate
birthday
parties
in
class
or
bring
in
snack
There
will,
however,
be
holiday
celebrations
and
writing
celebrations
Parents
may
join
us
for
our
writing
celebrations
during
the
school
year,
dates

Book Orders
Will try to give out book orders monthly (Cash or checks are fine, but checks are preferred)
Complete
all
homework.
Please
make
sure
they
are
completing
all
homework
assignments
and
help
them
when
necessary.
Homework
is
very
important-it
reinforces
what
they
have
learned
in
class
Practice
writing.
Go
over
their
writing
and
reinforce
basic
grammar
skills
and
punctuation
Read
with
them
as
often
as
possible,
questioning
what
they
have
read
and
build
up
their
reading
time
Practice
Math.
Reinforce
addition
and
subtraction
up
to
20.
Reinforce
adding
and
subtracting
with
regrouping,
especially
with
zeros.
Begin
multiplication
tables
from
0
to
12.

telling
time
to
the
nearest
minute
