THE AUTHOR
BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author, MR. CRISTOPHER JAEN RIVERA was born on January 9,


1996 at Santa Maria, Laguna. He is the youngest son of Mr. Victoriano J. Rivera
and Mrs. Lolita J. Rivera. His father is a Farmer and Driver and my mother is a
Housewife and business women. Cristopher belongs to a big family where he
has 4 siblings, 2 boy and 2 girls namely, Violeta J. Rivera, Richard Rivera,
Aiza R. Moster, and Royce John Rivera and Im the youngest.
Cristopher finished his primary education at Cabuoan Elementary School.
He completed her secondary education at Siniloan National High School year
2012. And now, she is currently earning her bachelors degree in Business
Administration major in Marketing at the Laguna State Polytechnic University
Siniloan, Laguna.
The trainee believes that he will finish his study and will be able to achieve
his dreams because he has very supportive parents and family who provide all
her needs and believes in his potentials. The trainee dream of having an
extraordinary restaurant and Company or a Big Computer Shop having so many
branch in the Philippines. He will do all that he can to acquire insights so that he
can reach his dreams.
The trainee will not stop from learning new ideas after graduation. He
wanted to study graphic artist, cooking, baking and designing house. While he is
on a roller coaster ride for corporate career, he has a plan to take Masters
degree.
The acumen and experience gained at the University through the
instruction and guidance of the faculty staff has prepared her for the challenge of
the profession. Although it is not enough, the knowledge that the trainee has will
serve as a stepping stone for a better career in the future.

Similarly, the experiences received during his on-the-job training have


helped his become ready for the career. The trainee learned the operations,
processes and work ethics in the Marc Pua Group of Company. Moreover, since

this company having different company franchise he learned how to franchise


what is the process, dealing with big company, what are the requirements in
franchising, computing payroll and other accounting choirs.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This discusses the place as a development tool and how it was delivered
effectively by the company. On-the-job training is an important way in which
students acquire relevant knowledge and skill at work.
April 6, 2015, it was the date when the trainee started the on-the-job
training at Marc Pua Group of Company . It is a Family owned business of Puas
Family, Marc Pua Group of Company specializes in Franchising different fast
food company and adding more business to grow their company. Marc Pua
Group of Company Franchise, four (4) Jollibee, One(1) Mang Inasal, One (1)
Petron, One(1) Ice Making or OPICOR, One (1) Solane Gas with different Branch
in Laguna, and One (1) Hap Chan for a total of eight (8) Franchise Company.
The trainee was assigned at over-all division of the company, since it is a
small establishment. The trainee had a routine of thinking of marketing strategy
for their launch of the Solane Gas, Filling different documents of the company,
answering telephone inquiries and concerns, filling of check, Computing Time
card of different employees, encoding sales transactions, and E-mailing and
sorting of files.
The trainee observed the daily activities, rules and regulations inside the
company and practiced what he had observed and learned. During his training at
Marc Pua Group of Company (MPG), the trainee learned how to interact or
socialized with other people. He knows that people have different characteristics
and attitudes, however making friends with her bosses does not make difficult for
her.
As the trainee was working, she learns how to become a smart working
person. Time to complete the output is not important, but the quality. He also
learned to follow the instructions as what the supervisors said and to accept the
opinion that they suggested.

Being an apprentice on that kind of department was really remarkable. All


the skills and techniques that they shared with the trainee will help him grow as
professional in the near future.
On-the-job training is not just only a subject to be passed or a requirement
to be completed but on-the-job training is an opportunity to show what skills,
talents and techniques that the student learned from the school and also an
opportunity to experience the life outside the campus, serving companies like a
professional on the field of the students specialization.
