Course Description
This course focuses on algebraic properties and operations. Topics covered include; linear equations and
inequalities, systems of equations, graphing functions, polynomials, data analysis, focus on functions
and applying skills to real world problems. Graphing calculators will be used to develop and reinforce
algebraic concepts. This course prepares students to take the Keystone Algebra 1.

Students are to in the room before the bell rings.
Students remain seated at the end of the period until the bell rings.
Students will remain quiet during quizzes and tests. This means absolute silence!
Student will work quietly during assignments in order for questions to be answered.
Follow the school rules as outline in the student handbook.
No passing calculators during quizzes and tests.

Make-up Policy:
It is your responsibility to make up all required notes, homework, quizzes, assignments, projects and
test when you return to school after an absence. Arrangement for make-up work must be made within
the allowed school policy.
Retake procedures for Quizzes
The student needs to bring the Quiz that they would like to retake to an after school session. Where the
quiz will be reviewed and retaken. Quizzes must be made up BEFORE the Chapter Test is given.
