Read This Document First

Thanks for purchasing Blackwells Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, edited by
Drs. Grabois, Garrison, Hart, and Lehmkuhl. The enclosed CD-ROM contains
the complete text and images of the book along with additional materials.. Read
the How To Use This CD-ROM section which can be found at the main contents
screen. This file includes a discussion of all of the functions of Acrobat Reader.
We have also included two additional files on Acrobat Reader and the Acrobat
Search to provide you with a comprehensive help system.

Acrobat Reader 3.01

This CD-ROM uses the Acrobat 3.01 Reader. Although you can read this file
with Acrobat Reader 2.1, the rest of this CD-ROM will not function. If you didnt
follow the installation instructions located on the back of the card enclosed with
your CD-ROM make sure that the version of Acrobat you used to open this file is
Reader 3.01. If not, follow the installation instructions.

Monitor Resolution
Please make sure that your monitor is displaying a minimum of thousands of
colors (this CD-ROM will not look correct if your color monitor is set at 256
color). Millions of colors is preferable. You can also reset your monitor to show
a higher resolution than 640 x 480 pixels, if you so desire. However, because of
the nature of Acrobat PDFs, this CD-ROM will work on any color monitor set at
any resolution.
To resize the text displaying the chapter select Fit Width from the VIEW pull
down menu or choose the shortcut key (For Windows hit Ctrl and K together; for
the Mac hit Command and K together). This makes the text fit the size of the
window display. To close chapters when you are finished viewing them, select
FILE, the CLOSE. This will return you to the contents page.
