CT STUDY OF HEAD PLAIN & CONTRAST

Infratentorial

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Well defined hypodense cystic area of CSF density is seen in left anterior temporal
region .

Both the cerebral hemisphere show normal gray and white matter differentiation.

No subdural or extradural blood collection is seen.

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and both lateral ventricles are seen normally.

No midline shift is seen.

No abnormal enhancing lesion is seen.

Bony architecture
No obvious fracture is seen.
OPINION:
CYSTIC LESION IN LEFT TEMPORAL REGION? ARACHNOID CYST.
NO POST TRAUMATIC INTRACRANIAL BLEED IS SEEN.
Clinical correlation is necessary
