The Limits of Chinese Soft Power
China has been making major efforts to strengthen its soft power
A. Then-President Hu Jintao emphasized on the needs of soft power
B. President Xi Jinping repeated the same message

Chinas efforts have had some impact
A. China leads the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
B. Doles out billions of dollars for aid
C. China could actually be taking the lead over countries

The efforts have had only a limited return
