La clase de Sra. Aguirre

Mrs. Drakes Class

Estas semanas pasadas, hemos

tomados nuestros primeros
exmenes en las reas de lectura,
escritura, matemticas y ciencias.

I cannot believe that it is already October! It has been rewarding

for me to see the growth that your students are already showing
after just six weeks of school. We will be having fall conferences
on Wednesday, October 28th to meet and discuss your student's
strengths and growth areas. Look for more information in the
coming weeks!

Mrs. Mendezs Class

Class is progressing well! Students are

learning about the importance of working
hard and putting forth effort in everything we
do. We are also becoming more comfortable
with the idea of seeing our yesterday self as
our only competition and understanding that
our goal and focus for the year is personal
progress and growth. They are encouraging
of one anothers differences, strengths, and
holding each other accountable for growth
areas. Please continue to encourage your
child to do homework each week and read
nightly. Look for an email soon to arrange
times for parent-teacher conferences.

Our learning environment is positive and

nurturing. I am enjoying getting to know
each student as a person; working with
their strengths and empowering them to
take chances. I am very impressed with
the level of maturity and excitement in
our classroom. Thank you for getting
your child to school on time and having
them stay the entire day. Please ask
them what they are learning and to speak
up when they need your help. If I can be
of any assistance, please do not hesitate
to contact me.

Please make every effort to ensure that your child is arriving at

school on time everyday. The tardy bell rings at 7:45. Attendance
is becoming a major concern. It is vital that your child is
receiving as much instruction as possible. We move at a very
swift pace and it can cause students to quickly fall behind if they
miss. If possible, please schedule appointments toward the end of
the day or have your child return to school.
If you have not signed and returned your child's progress report,
please do so as soon as possible. Thanks!
