This document discusses page layout using LaTeX. It redefines the header to display the author's name and date using the fancyhdr package. It also uses the lastpage package to create a 'page x of y' style numbering at the bottom of each page, though the author notes this is just for demonstration purposes.

Andrew Roberts 1st October 2003 Using the fancyhdr package, I have redefined the header to display my name and the date, whilst the page number appears at the bottom-right of every page. Also, using the lastpage package, I can easily create a n of m style numbering at the bottom (not that I normally would, its just for show!)
