India is a land known for its rich natural resources and

sophisticated art . This has found its place in Indian fashion
through traditional dresses like Ghagra cholis ( long skirt
/blouse) and salwar Kameez. My “Traditional Collection”
appeals to any house hold as well as modern “woman of
India”. This Collection is embellished with elegant
embroideries of glass beads , stones and golden/silver
threads in comfortable natural fabrics such as pure silk and
raw silk.
Kaftans /Jalabiya is a traditional garment worn by Arabic and
Middle Eastern women on special occasions . This cloak like
garment is also known as ‘Abaya’ and is made up of cotton
wool or silk. There are varying cuts from tent shaped, flowing
A-Line to Glamorous gowns.

Kaftans are adorned with tassels, beading, sequins, laces, silk

threads and other decorative accessories. They can be buttoned,
zipped or snapped as long as the neck, wrist and ankles are
covered.
Fusions are garments where Eastern fashion meets
the western style. This collection is fusion / synergy
of both these concepts. In this collection I have used
Silk, Chiffon and Jacquard (self textured) woven silk
with dash of thread and sequin work.
Up next is a collection of ‘business formals’
made up in Fine Pure Wool and wool rich suiting
fabrics. I have created these designs during my
stint with Raymond's Ltd. My designs were
showcased in previous year seasons’ catalogue.
In my western collection I have included casuals
and semi casuals made up of specialized printed
fabrics teamed with fur accessories and leather
respectively.
