Introduction
Education is a solution to many social problems.
It is an individual, unique experience for every
student who enters the classroom, in order for
children to benefit from what the school offers.
Educationis the process of facilitatinglearning,
knowledge,skills,values,beliefs, andhabitsof a
group of people that are transferred to other
people, through storytelling, discussion, teaching,
training, or research.

Introduction
Square pegs in square holes or round pegs in round holes.
It is like putting to profitable use of the knowledge, skills and
abilities towards making the assets in the society they live.
Curriculum changes as society change. Thats why the pressure
on our public schools to improve, and change, has become
intense. As the teachers are the drivers of the lesson, the
curriculum is the guide where the road of the discussion goes.
Real experiences that occurs in the society affects the learning
of an individual. The relationship between curriculum and
society is mutual. It is dynamic. Now that we are in the 21 st
century, we need to be holistically developed, the same with
what our society internationally demands.

Introduction
OBE is oriented towards social transformation. It was then
implemented in formal schools year 2010-2011. Behind its
implementation some schools find it difficult to adjust from the
traditional method of teaching to the outcome-based education.
There is a need to be flexible in adopting the way how students
learn. Educators need to change the way they used to do in
educating the learners. The priority of the OBE approach is the
future role that learners will play after completing their formal
school education. (Department of National Education 1997)

Rationale
Changes is constant, what the society demands,
the curriculum must adapt. Adapting new curriculum
is always for the development of the learners. Indeed
OBE curriculum is already existing, but how do the
teachers
in
the
institution
implements
this
curriculum? Are they are ready enough for the
changes? Are this practices can come up to better
way to be accredited? Schools are the foundation of
education. It is an institution wherein students are
getting more educated. Schools therefore must
undergo accreditation to know that the outcomebased education is implemented.
