To whom it may concern:

Hi, my name is Antoine Baylor. I am applying for the Electrician job that your company has
posted on the internet. I am interested in learning a little more about this position. So if you
contact me, I will be more than willing to follow-up with you.

I am writing this resume’ to find new employment. My current place of employment has gone
out of business. I did a job search on indeed.com and found the position your company need
filled, and I feel as though that I will be very capable of filling the desired position.

I have a wide range of electrical experience in the residential, commercial, and industrial fields,
but in some cases things are a little new to me and I am willing to learn all I can to be successful
at this trade. My supervisor told me one day that “You will never learn all there is about
electricity because it is constantly changing”, which is very true, because new codes come into
to play every three years.

Hopefully, your company will consider me in filling the desired position, and if contacted I will
be more than willing to respond immediately. Thank you for taking the time to view this
resume’.

Respectfully yours,

Antoine Baylor

Objective:
My main objective is to be successful in the electrical field. I chose the electrical trade as my
career, and I plan on pursuing this trade in all aspects. I am confident in myself enough to say
that, if given the time and opportunity, I will be a very reliable asset to a company.

I have a few highlights of my career I would like to share that I am very proud of, and one of
these highlights are passing my first three years of the Apprenticeship program with an A/B
average, and currently looking forward to finishing my fourth year the same. I am currently in
my fourth year at the Spotsylvania Career and Technical Institute and will be graduating March
31, 2010. Another highlight of my career is when I wrote my own program and programmed
the information into a PLC. I have attended two courses at the Allen & Bradley Rockwell
Automation building in Richmond VA. I learned a lot from them two courses, and when the
opportunity aroused and my job need a piece of equipment automated, I wrote the program
and programmed the application, and it works flawless. I catch on very quick to things, and am
a very fast learner, and no matter what the job requirements are I will get the job done!
