IgD Activates the B-cell. Immune system regulation.

IgA Protects mucosal sites. Found in tears, saliva, and
breast milk. Principally seen in secretions.
 
 
IgE Attack parasites & may harm humans by causing
allergies. Seen in acute allergic reactions.
 
 
IgG Crosses the placenta. Most abundant. Immunity
for newborn but only for a few weeks.
 
 
IgM 1 antibody produced in an immune response. 1st

IgG Most abundant. Crosses the placenta, gives new born immunity but only for a few
weeks.
Ig First to be formed against antigen.

IgE Seen in acute allergic reactions.
