Curriculum Connection: Storybird may be used in the
curriculum in a couple of different ways. One way is for students
to show their ability to write a simple story and be able to
illustrate it as well. This tool would be useful in a lesson on parts
of a book. After being taught all about a book, students would
show me that they know how to properly write a book using all of
the components discussed in class. This tool may also be helpful
for teachers in finding fun and simple stories for students to read
and answer compression questions about.
