I would like to mention it says you may use a Venn Diagram or Chart to compare/contrast. What I got from this is its giving me the option to use it or not.

Parallel Lines

Parallel lines are lines in a plane

which do not meet and (once
again) the have the same slope
and go in a single direction
forever without touching. They
are equidistance.

Parallel Lines in
the Real World
As you can see with the three
provided images they are each
parallel lines because they are
perfect distance between each other
and are not touching.
The third image shows multiple
Parallel lines all equal distance apart
although they are not going on for
eterinity.

Perpendicular Lines

Intersect at 90 degrees as they go

on forever. They start off with
equidistance and then it gets wider
or thinner.

Perpendicular
Lines in the Real
world

IN these images they all show

Perpendicular Lines you can tell
from how it looks like a cross and
each angle in 90 degrees.
