    JaMariauna Washington has shown tremendous growth over the past three years at Buckingham Charter Magnet High School. Initially unhappy about attending the smaller high school, she has adjusted well and met higher expectations. JaMariauna will complete her course requirements in June with a solid 2.54 GPA. She has participated in track, volleyball, and is applying to establish a Black Student Union. Next year she plans to attend a four-year university to study Communication with a minor in Psychology and pursue a career in broadcasting.     Initially,JaMariaunawasnothappyregardingherparentsdecisiontoenrollheratBuckinghamCharter
    MagnetHighSchool;shewantedtoattendherhighschoolofresidence,aschoolwithfourtimesthe
    enrollment.But,slowlyandsteadily,JaMariaunamadetheadjustmenttooursmallercampusandthe
    staffshigherexpectationsandconstantcare.
    JaMariaunawillcompleteallhighschoolcourserequirementsthisJune.Shehasasolidcumulative
    2.54GPA.JaMariaunahasparticipatedintrackandfieldforthreeyears,volleyballfortwoyearsandis
    currentlyapplyingtotheAssociatedStudentBodytoestablishtheBlackStudentUniononourcampus
    thisyear.NextyearJaMariaunaplanstoattendafouryearuniversityinpursuitofadegreein
    Communicationwithaminorinpsychology.Sheisinpursuitofacareerinbroadcasting.Ilook
