I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Jamariauna Washington. I have had the
opportunity to work with Jamariauna as her school counselor for the past two years. Jamariauna has
grown significantly over the last few years. She is currently taking a rigorous senior schedule including
Pre-Calculus, Philosophy and Service Learning. She has a cumulative GPA of 2.54.
Over the past few years, Jamariauna has grown tremendously. She is a very social person and is able to
interact with many students and teachers. She has been voted for many yearbook superlatives, including
Most likely to have a television show. She is exuberant and has a great personality. She is willing to
help teachers with copying, taking passes, etc.
At the beginning of her high school experience she participated in track and volleyball. She has been
open to trying new experiences. She has completed many of our visual and media arts courses along
that career pathway. Jamariaunas ability to interact with others and sense of humor will carry her far in
life. She is now able to balance academics with her love of socializing to be a successful student.
