Dear Families,

We are the new student teachers that will be working with your children
the week of March 18th through March 22nd. We are very excited and
look forward to get to work alongside you, your children, and the
community. In our time with you, we hope to provide opportunities to
engage children in early literacy, writing, math and science skills through
hands on experiences and learning.

Hello, my name is Kayla. I am a

student at Horry-Georgetown Technical
College studying Early Care and Education.
Through this program I have gained the
valuable knowledge of learning how children
grow, develop, and learn best which I plan on
using in the future. After I graduate this
upcoming May, I plan on continuing my
education by working towards earning a
Bachelors in working with children that have
special needs. I was born and raised here in
Myrtle Beach with a love of nature and
meeting new people. I am very excited to
meet you and have a wonderful, fun,
educational filled week.

My name is Lashan Bryant. I

am a student at Horry-Georgetown
Technical College. I plan to graduate this
summer with an Associates degree in Early
Care and Education. I live in the Longs
area, where I also work full time managing
a local restaurant there. I am a mother to
three boys ages 6, 9, and 12. I enjoy
spending time with them, going out to eat,
shopping online, and hanging out with my
sisters. I love working with children and am
really excited about getting to know and
work with you and your child for a week.
