I am extremely interested in applying for a position this summer at your
centre. I came across your job listing through a collage at my current school
and decided to apply. Looking at the position, I was informed about the
criteria that comes along with it. The location, the shifts and the age group
are a few of the many responsibilities that I will be more than happy to fulfill.
Looking through the job description, I believe that I am suitable for the
position since I meet most of the requirements you seek.
I am confident that my work experience and school placements with children
give me a solid foundation and strong skill set that I bring along with me. I
will be graduating May 2016 from the Early Childhood Education program at
Humber College. I will then continue my education to obtain my degree at
the University of Guelph/Humber for Early Childhood Education in September
2016. I am very enthusiastic and passionate with working with children. As
you can see from my attached resume, I have worked with children ages 18
months to 4 years and created plans that support their development.
The challenges of providing fun, safe and creative environments that are
inclusive would be a rewarding experience for myself. I am a passionate
worker with a high energy level. I am a positive creative thinker that likes
facing new challenges. I work well independently as well as in a team
setting.
