suchasworldleaderstodiscussenvironmentalissues.Theyworktofindgreenerwaystodo
thingsandtopreventthreatstoanimalsandthesurroundingenvironments.

CitizensforLocalDemocracy(C4LD)
CitizensforLocalDemocracy(C4LD)wasanonpartisan,citizenactiongroupthatemergedin
December1996toopposeprovinciallyimposedmunicipalamalgamationonsevenTorontoarea
municipalities.Itisaprovincial/municipalwidecharityandtheyworkwithcitizenstofind
solutionsforinjusticeactsandtofightforanequaldemocracy.

communityofwritersnowspansmorethan100countries.Theydefendfreedomofliteratureand

AmnestyInternationalisaglobalmovementofmorethan3millionsupporters,membersand
activistsinover150countriesandterritorieswhocampaigntoendgraveabusesofhumanrights.
Prisonershavebeenreleased,givenneededmedicalattention,beengrantedaccesstolawyers
