Comments
The only safe level was the
Ammonia.
Everything remained the same,
except Nitrate.
Everything is lowering, except the
nitrite is the same.
pH and the temperature increase,
but everything else remains the
same.

Freshwater Master Test Kit

pH:
1.

Fill a clean test tube with 5 ml of water (to the line on tube)

2.
Add 3 drops of pH test solution (holding bottle upside down in completely vertical
position)
3.

Cap test tube and invert tube several times to mix

4.

Match color against white part of pH color chart

5.

Rise tube with clean water

Ammonia:
1.

Fill a clean test tube with 5 ml of water (to the line on tube)

2.
Add 8 drops of Ammonia test solution bottle #1 (holding bottle upside down in
completely vertical position)

3.
Add 8 drops of Ammonia test solution bottle #2 (holding bottle upside down in
completely vertical position)
4.

Cap test tube and shake vigorously for 5 seconds

5.

Wait 5 minutes for color to develop

6.

Match color against white part of ammonia color chart

7.

Rise tube with clean water

Nitrate:
1.

Add 5 drops of Nitrite test solution (holding bottle upside down in completely vertical
position)
3.

Cap test tube and shake for 5 seconds

4.

Wait 5 minutes for color to develop

5.

Match color against white part of Nitrite color chart

6.

Rise tube with clean water

Nitrate:
1.

Fill a clean test tube with 5 ml of water (to the line on tube)

Add 10 drops of Nitrate test solution bottle #1 (holding bottle upside down in completely
vertical position)
3.

Cap the test tube and invert tube several times to mix

4.

Vigorously shake the Nitrate Test Solution bottle #2 for at least 30 seconds. Vital Step!

5.
Now add 10 drops of Nitrate test solution bottle #2 (holding bottle upside down in
completely vertical position
6.

Cap test tube and shake vigorously for 1 minute
