Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one post of Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the CSIR research project entitled
“Functional analysis of a late replication enforcing element in
chromosome II of fission yeast.” Minimum qualifications: NET/GATE
qualified with M. Sc./BE/B. Tech. (Life Science subjects) with specialization in
Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with 55% marks. Preference
shall be given to the candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge of
Molecular Biology, particularly Genetic Engineering techniques and handling
of sophisticated instruments used in the field. Salary: @ Rs. 12,000/-p.m. for
the first two years, Rs. 14,000/-p.m. for the third year if extended as SRF, plus
HRA as per university rules which will be co-terminus with the tenure of the
project. Age Limit: 28 years as on last date of receiving application (5 years
relaxation for female/SC-ST/OBC candidates). All qualifications being equal,
the SC-ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. No TA/DA will be
paid to the candidates if called for interview. Applications with complete bio-
