PCOS appears to be an ancient disorder


Hippocrates medical records imply PCOS was an issue in that
time period
Soranus said that it is natural that masculine women miss
periods

Over two millenniums statements were made that are signs and
explanations of PCOS
PCOS appears to have been prevalent earlier than racial diversity
PCOS is slightly affected by the increase in obesity
Across the world, prevalence of PCOS is around the same
percentage wise
PCOS began in hunter-gatherer societies
Not many woman who have PCOS are sterile and can have a
normal size family
