Bear Patrol
The Lincoln Student Council is
sponsoring a special holiday
opportunity. Please send in new,
unwrapped teddy bears - any size.
These bears will be given to our local
fire department. The firemen use these bears to
give to children during traumatic events to help
comfort them. Thank you in advance!

Report cards will be going home
this Friday, November 20.
Please sign and return the envelope.
You may keep the actual report card for
your records.

Book Order
Want books? Turn in a
Scholastic Book Order for
great deals!. You can send
it in to school (cash, or a check
made out to Scholastic). Or you can
choose to order online. Last time we had
difficulty registering on-line, but I think its ok
now. I did a test run as a parent and it
worked. As always, no tax and no shipping
charges.

Reading Lotto

LOTTO!

You should have started a new

row on your new Reading Lotto
sheet. Remember, it can't be
the same row that you used last trimester.
You should also have started your first book
for the 2nd trimester. The first Rate the Book
will be due Friday on December 11. All Lottos
can be turned in early, of course. :)

Native American Test

Our California Native American
unit is coming to a close.
The big unit test will be
Friday. Study for the test
using your background sheets
and the study guide given to you today.
You will need to take home your
Background sheets each night and bring
them back to class each day.
Get your agenda signed each night to
Confirm that you studied.
The study help on our website is active so
check it out. Remember, each day we will
discuss together what the "evidence" for
studying will be. You should write this in
your agenda each day. You need to bring
this evidence to school each day.
