Look at what we are learning!

Math: We will have been working on subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers with regrouping. You and your child can create subtraction problems and word problems at home to practice. Writing/Grammar: In writing, we are still writing persuasively. Now, we are learning how to have exciting endings for our writing. Encourage your child to try to persuade you of something using their reasoning skills. Reading: We are learning about fables and what makes them a special kind of literature. These
stories have animals as the main characters and teach a moral.

Social Studies: We will continue to discuss the importance of the Civil Rights Movement. Science: We are continuing our unit on astronomy by learning how objects in space move. I will be
sending home a study guide for our Astronomy test that will be next week.
