Conferences

Teacher-Parent Conferences are scheduled starting

Thursday. Conferences are 20 minutes in length
and they are scheduled back to back, so please do
your best to arrive on time.

Please knock once on the door

when it is your scheduled
conference time. I am looking forward
to seeing you!!

Reading Lotto

You should have started your 3rd

book for Reading Lotto. Remember,
you can turn it in early. If all 4 Rate the
Books are done, staple them to the back
of the Reading Lotto cover sheet. Then just put
it on my desk. And, early birds get the worm!
Do you remember what that means?

California Regions Test

We will have our first social studies test on

Friday. A California Regions Study Guide has
been provided to help your child study for the test.
Please make sure to take home the student guide
each day. All the test questions will come from
the information in this packet. Test Support on
the website has been activated. Here you will find
copies of the study guide and student guide. You
will also find a blank map of California to help
you practice writing features and cities down. A
sheet is also posted to help you know what
locations you should practice for the map. It is
required for you to make flashcards to help you
study. You should also practice using the map.
You need to bring evidence that you studied to
school each day. PARENTS: PLEASE SIGN
THE AGENDA EVERY NIGHT TO
CONFIRM HOW MANY MINUTES YOUR
CHILD STUDIED.
