1. What is your philosophical foundation of education?

My philosophy in education helps me to become a better teacher. I know teaching is a

continuous learning. Every day, you are learning. It’s a process. Through times, realizing
that the field of education is very important. My philosophy of education is going to
focus on the belief that every child can learn. It is a educator’s responsibility to determine
how to be most effective in the classroom and assist every student in the learning
process. My goal in the classroom is to create a safe learning environment. In order to
do this, I will be astute at all times. I will look for clues and cues to find each student’s
learning style.

Education is important because it gradually prepares students for a future career. As a

teacher, I will try to enrich the minds of students. I want them to understand the
importance of education. I hope to serve as a role model and gain respect from all of my
pupils. I trust that my teaching strategies will be inspiring, and my dedication and passion
for teaching obvious.. I want my students to have an understanding of education and a
positive outlook on life. I hope that by my passion for teaching I will have an impact on
my students. I want them to walk away with a continuing eagerness and motivational
drive to learn and advance. Cooperative learning will be a method I use in my classroom.
I believe that in a cooperative learning group a student can learn socialization skills and
how to work with others. This goes along with the pragmatic/progressive philosophy that
children learn by doing. The progressivism teaching style also includes the incorporation
of problem-solving and critical thinking techniques. I want my students to learn to think
for themselves and be able to function in society.

I believe that with these philosophies in education, I could turn or create individuals into a
future nation’s builder.

2. Why do we need to study the foundation of education?

Education would be to learn or to gain knowledge of something through the teaching

of others or through one’s self. For all educators, we should learn all aspects of
teaching. Foundation of education helps to know the process of both teaching and
learning. Determining the learners weaknesses and strengths, capabilities in learning.
it will enable you to appreciate the importance of education to mankind since time
immemorial across the generations. By so doing, you are will be able to critically
examine the fundamental part which education plays in the transformation of society.
Note that as a teacher, you are a change agent so learning the history of education
will prepare teachers in training to examine present trends and dynamics in
education.

3. Why is it important to have a strong foundation in education?

Knowing that education is the for all aspects of life, strong foundation really
matters. Education should provide lifelong learning and a variety of learning
styles for students to obtain from the teacher. Education to me is more than
textbook knowledge; it is also personal life skills gained in the classroom.
Teaching should not stop at the four sides of the classroom, it goes beyond.
Strong Foundation means developing individual’s emotional, mental, physical
and cognitive abilities and preparation for a life-long learners. Education should
instill lifelong learning opportunities for students and give students the necessary
tools they need in order to obtain new information. Education is used to apply the
core curriculum to future endeavors to prepare students for the future. Students
should be educated to become productive members of the nation.
