A Dragon Lord is warrior with some spell casting ability and special powers over reptiles. A Character
must have Minimum 15 Intelligence, 14 Wisdom and 13 Charisma. Humans and Half Elves (Grey, or
High) may become Dragon Lords. A Dragon Lord with Scores of 16+ in Intelligence, Wisdom &
Charisma gains a 10% Experience Bonus.
A Dragon Lord uses the same THACO and Saving Throws as a Rogue, but has a +1 on Saves vs Breath
Weapon and Charming, and must be of Lawful Alignment. They have a d6 for HP's and may only learn
Mage spells from the Schools of: Alteration, Conjuration/Summoning, Enchantment/Charm and Illusion.
(Unable to use Scrolls). They may use any Magic Items permitted to a Thief, any weapons, but may wear
no armour heavier/bulkier than Chainmail. They may use a shield.
Their special abilities include Reptile Lore & Charm Reptile. The Lore Skill begins at 20% and
increases by 5% per level beyond the first, to a maximum of 95%. A Dragon Lord may attempt to Charm
a number of HD of Reptiles equal to his Level. Reptiles get a Save, but at a Penalty of -1 per two levels
gained by the Dragon Lord. (The Charm functions like a Charm Monster spell.) Dragon Lords also add
their Level to any Reaction Roll towards Reptiles.
At 3rd Level, a Dragon Lord gains Reptile Empathy, at 7th the ability to communicate with Reptiles, and
at 10th Level may Summon Reptiles. A Dragon Lord may learn one Dragon Language for each three
levels that he has achieved, in addition to languages allowed by his Intelligence.
