Purpose/Objective(s)
To identify the 9 digital citizenship standards is for technology.
To create a video/skit that identifies a digital citizenship standard and shows how it would look like in
the real world.

Activity
Students will go the blendspace created on digital citizenship. They will navigate through it watching
each video or visiting each website to get an overview of each digital citizenship standard. They will
then be given a 10 minute lecture/class discussion over the 9 standards from the digital citizenship
website. When they are completed, the students will create a video using wevideo that is based off of
one of the standards. The video/skit is to show that they understand the digital citizenship standard
and how it can affect ones everyday life.

Resources to Share
I will use digital citizenship websites and videos from YouTube along with the wevideo website site to
create the video.

Parent or Community Connection

Sending out an email or a flier home to the parents about what the 9 digital citizenship standards are.
This will help the parents better understand the need for digital citizenship and how it can affect their
students lives along with them understanding we will be using technology in the classroom. They will
have to sign the flier in order for me to know if they have read it.

Evaluation
The students will be given a 5 question quiz on the digital security after they have created their skits on
digital security.
