A WAR COMING UP ?

Hi guys, after reading some of your tweets, I felt the need to explain some
nonnegligible details based on comparing Russia and Turkey in terms of their
economies, not explicitly detailed, but as summarized version and as a whole i.e.
GDP details, most important parameters of welfare of people and military
expenditures etc.
First of all, I would like to show you how big these two economies are.
1) GDP Side
Russian Federations GDP2014 : 1,860,597,922,763.4 USD
Turkeys GDP2014 : 799,534,963,353.9 USD
Russian Federations GDP Per Capita for the year of 2014: 12,937.029 USD

As we consider this picture, Russias economy is not only nearly 2.5 times bigger
than Turkeys, but also the portion of GDP per person of Russia is nearly $2500
more than Turkeys. Moreover, Gross National Income per person in Russia is
nearly $2400 more than Turkey's.

2)

Exports of Goods and Services for Russia 2013 (% of GDP): 28.6

Imports of Goods and Services in Russia 2013 (% of GDP): 22.7

As you recall, exports minus imports summarize an economy's foreign trade

story. Look at the size of GDPs and you do the math.

On the other hand, we have the High-Tec export shares in GDPs. Again,
considering size of GDPs, we can conclude that there is a huge difference in
technological development, and it can be inferred that there is an astronomical
gap in technological investments between these two countries.

3)

Military Expenditure

Military Expenditure for Russia2014 (% of GDP) : 4.5

Military Expenditure for Turkey2014 (% of GDP) : 2.2

To accumulate all these datas in one box and to conclude, if you look at the
information above, Russian Federation is by far ahead of Turkey by means of
economical parameters which are the most crucial ones for the possibility of any
kind of war. Moreover, a big part of Turkey's agricultural exports are purchased by
Russian Federation, and nearly %70 of Turkey's energy imports are from Russian
Federation. Therefore, any kind of bad relation between Russia and Turkey will
affect Turkey way way way more than Russia. In addition, if you search and check
for the terms of some trade contracts between these two countries, you'll notice
that Russia has actually some advantages on Turkey in the case of a boycott by
any side.
Footnote: Just to be clear, I personally tried to explain only some of
macroeconomic details between Turkey and Russia, in a very limited time(like 20
minutes :) ). There are, of course, political and international conditions and laws
for that incident. I only used one economical database. If you want to check
further economic details you can visit: http://databank.worldbank.org/data/ .
Thank you for your time. :)
