Higher Aggregate Crushing Value indicates a weak aggregates. The aggregates

Crushing Value shall not exceed 45%.
For good quality aggregates , Impact value lies between 30 to 45.
A higher aggregate impact value indicates weaker concrete.
For R.C.C work, the maximum size of aggregates is limited to 20 mm to 25 mm.
The aggregates from brick should not be used for reinforced concrete work,since
it is porous and may corrode the reinforcement.
