Filter mind is a movement from one activity to another activity.

Strategies used to facilitate transitions


The teacher filter the children mind before the other activity, the
teacher ask the children to do a simple exercise as raise one hand with
one leg, and they have to walk and drink water energy then they
transition to other activity.

Efficacy of the strategy in terms of promoting positive


behavior and minimizing challenging behavior
This activity will develop the Social side of the children and it also
helps to reduce the obstinacy in children.

Suggestions for further development


When the children finish the filter mind they start running to them the
place to start other activity so that why I think her activity has
insufficiency she should be finished the transition with a train to
transfer in a quiet way.

The children have to stand in the 3-4 minute in a two line one line for
the boys and another one for the girls.

When you put to the children a time limit they will learn who to control
their anger .

Suggestions for further development


The teacher strategy is good especially when she put a time limit to
Preparation the lines. However, I think she needs to put a signals in
start the lines and the children stand behind it that will help the
teacher to organize the children.

The teacher links a song to identifiable transition method. So she sings
a song while the children transfer.

behavior and minimizing challenging behavior
In the beginning, the children did not know the starting off they will
transition to the other classroom but as soon as the teacher started
singing a song the student starting moving and the teacher would take
their attention.

Suggestions for further development

I think the teacher strategy is so good for the children because they
are getting used, but she has to raise her voice more to get the
children attention.
