What I learned..

TIME MANAGEMENT
I was able to learn how important it is to manage your time when
being a teacher. Each and every class is different and everything
must be covered in the lesson plains for the day. But this can be a
hard task at some points because each and every child learns at a
different rate as well as in different ways. So if you are in the middle
in a lesson and a student is struggling you must be able to help that
student and still stay on your schedule for the day. This is something
that I never knew that teachers could do. But I learned in Mrs.
Campbells pre-k class that this is possible. Mrs. Campbell was able
to show me that its acturlly very simple to stay on schedule. She was
able to manage each child with out getting off task. This was also
even easier for her because she had a teachers ad.

LESSON PLAINS
I also learned how to do and understand lesson plains for each day.
Mrs. Campbell would write out her lesson plains each week. She
always did them by times. The class started at 8am and she would go
on to put restroom break at 8:10am and so on. She also explained to
me that a lot of the books that are provided for her in the class room
had pre written lesson plains that she could follow. As I went over the
book I seen the lesson plains were written with dates and everything
with them. I surprised me that she did not have to make up her own
lesson but it was right in front of her. The only thing she had to do was
take the time to read and understand the lesson for the day, and how
to go about teaching them.
