I have taught in many schools over many years, mainly English and Drama. I love walking,
swimming, reading, spending time with my whanau and writing poems and stories. Hopefully
you have received your starter booklets and anything else you need in English to get started. If
not let me know and I really, really want to meet you at Advisories. Please phone me anytime
and email when you want.
ADVISORIES
Advisory sessions start from the 22nd of April. The sessions will be 2 hours long about every 2
weeks. You will also have the chance to hang out and have fun with other Te Kura students if
you want!
OTLE Stands for online teaching and learning environment. You can access this from the Te
Kura website- login tab. Please use Google chrome or Firefox for OTLE. Click on OTLEHUB Introduction to OTLE to get an overview. If you are having any problems. Contact
helpdesk.otle@tekura.school.nz or phone 0800 65 99 88 Ext 8712 during office hours if you
cannot access OTLE. Provide your student Te Kura ID, name and course name/s and or
code/s.
WORK RETURN
It is important to return work regularly, to stay registered in our system as a RETURNER.
Failure to return work within a moth can put on NON-RETURNER list and you may lose your
enrolment with us.
