Saving Money While Improving Our Brand

First and foremost, our number one goal in our department is to


strive for excellent customer service. That being said, we are not
spending our money wisely as of late. A number of problems went
wrong with our current shipping company recently as you know.
Although, not all of it was their fault, they consequently hurt our
business drastically in the past month or two. Despite the fact we are
fully staffed and running at our usual efficiency, I feel we can be
smarter simply by making some changes.
In the midst of our problems, I have been exploring
alternatives that are going to save us time and money. Textile Images
Inc. is a non-union garment shop that I feel will be much more reliable
for our company. Textile Images Inc. and I have been in contact about
a new contract, which includes financial benefit for our company.
Switching companies will save us 13% on our materials alone. Not
only does it save us money on materials, but wages as well. Textile
Images Inc. has agreed to have our orders delivered the morning of,
instead of in the afternoon, which allows for us to cut down on
employees hours/wages. Although this is a small benefit, it will save
more money than we think in the long run.

As you can see, Textile Images Inc. is going to save us large sums
of money when looking at the big picture. We are going to save $310
monthly, which means we would save $3,720 per year thereafter.
Furthermore, I have been in contact with other shipping companies to
inquire about switching from FedEx as well.

I have been in contact with Textile Images Inc. as mentioned, but


feel free to ask me any questions you may have moving forward,
otherwise I would love to meet with you so we can finalize a new deal
and continue to improve our company.
