Circle Time Review

Activity Time

This week in Circle time, we will


review the different colors and
shapes. We will do this through
different songs and games that the
children love to do. We will also do a
little review during the discussion of
the Christmas ornaments.

Vocabulary: Santa Claus, Christmas, present, stocking, bell, star, Christmas tree,
reindeer, snowman, snowflake, Christmas ball, sleigh, candy cane, fireplace
Songs: Jingle Bells, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Oh Christmas tree
Sentence Structure: What is this?
It is a _____.
Activities: What is in the Christmas box? The teacher will give some clues
about what is in the box. The students will try to guess it, the one who is correct
will receive a star.
Decorate a Christmas Tree- The students will choose among the things in the box
which are those Christmas ornaments that are used to decorate a tree.
Games
Rudolf Went to School The class will be divide into two groups. Players from
both groups compete with each other one at a time. The player puts on each prop
(reindeer headband on the head, red paper on the nose, and bell necklace on their
neck), then runs around a designated marker a few feet away. All props must be
removed before tagging the next player. The group which completes all 10 rounds
first wins.
Simon says The teacher will say Simon says, Give me a ____. The student
who can give the right object will be the winner.

Phonics
Review
This week we will review all the
vocabularies they had learned
from the letters Aa, Bb, Cc, and
Dd. We will have different games
and activities to make this review
more fun and active. Some of the
games we play are: Simon Says,
fishing, feed Mr. Shark, Alphabet
walk and Get Me.

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
We are now going to learn different words that starts with letter Gg. Gg- girl, gift,
goat and gorilla.
Homework/ Craft Work/ Writing
Practice
Art The students will color a
Christmas tree.

Craft- Using paper cones,


students will create their little
Christmas tree.
