1. Where does considering the audience and purpose fit into your writing process?
When I begin my writing process I always make effort to look at the purpose and audience.
When looking at the purpose I always make sure to figure out what the authors point was such as
inform, persuade, and explain. Understanding the purpose of a piece of writing is what helps me
come with my main points I want to talk about in my essays. Audience is also another important
part when analyzing and annotating a piece of text. Audience is very important because it
changes the way the author chooses their word choice.
2. How does your drafting process work?
My drafting process works by me reading the text or information and annotating. After I annotate
I go to making an outline to highlight the key information. Making an outline helps me
personally come up with more ideas to make my essays better.
3. How does your revising process work?
My revising process works by me writing my rough draft and going back through and correcting
my grammatical errors. Then I have a peer or a friend go through peer edit.
