ALBERT ARNOLD
GORE JR.

Al Gore

Former Vice President Al Gore is co-founder and chairman of Generation

Investment Management. He is a senior partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield
& Byers, and a member of Apple, Inc.s board of directors. Gore spends the
majority of his time as chairman of The Climate Reality Project, a non-profit
devoted to solving the climate crisis.
Gore was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1976, 1978, 1980
and 1982 and the U.S. Senate in 1984 and 1990. He was inaugurated as the
45th Vice President of the United States on January 20, 1993, and served
eight years.
He is the author of the bestsellersEarth in the Balance,An Inconvenient
Truth,The Assault on Reason,Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate
Crisis, and most recently,The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change. He is
the subject of an Oscar-winning documentary and is the co-recipient, with
the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, of the 2007 Nobel Peace
Prize for informing the world of the dangers posed by climate change.
Former Vice President Gore was born on March 31, 1948, and resides in
Nashville, Tennessee.

An Inconvenient Truth
Al Gore's Book

In former Vice President Al Gores best

selling book, An Inconvenient Truth he lays
out a case for the climate crisis and why it is
imperative that we solve it.
Our climate crisis may, at times, appear to be
happening slowly, but in fact it is happening
very quickly-and has become a true
planetary emergency. The Chinese
expression for crisis consists of two
characters. The first is a symbol fordanger;
the second is a symbol foropportunity.
In order to face down the danger that is
stalking us and move through it, we first
have to recognize that we are facing a crisis.
So why is it that our leaders seem not to
hear such clarion warnings? Are they
resisting the truth because they know that
the moment they acknowledge it, they will
face a moral imperative to act? Is it simply
more convenient to ignore the warnings?
Perhaps, but inconvenient truths do not
go away just because they are not seen.
Indeed, when they are responded to, their
significance doesnt diminish; it grows.

An audience and critical favorite,An

Inconvenient Truthmakes the compelling
case that global warming is real, manmade, and its effects will be cataclysmic if
we dont act now. Gore presents a wide
array of facts and information in a
thoughtful and compelling way: often
humorous, frequently emotional, and
always fascinating. In the end,An
Inconvenient Truthaccomplishes what all
great films should: it leaves the viewer
shaken, involved and inspired.

Documentary

Comparing David Suzuki and Al Gore, the difference is that Al gore is

an American Politician who made a Documentary about Global
issues, meanwhile David Suzuki is a World figure, Environmental
Activist, Geneticist and broadcaster.
With a foot in the door politically Al Gore has a key to the secret
legitimate information that is withheld from the public, however
David Suzuki, with a bachelor of arts in biology and a doctorate
inzoology, is a Geneticist with the first hand power, knowledge and
understanding of legitimate information can further his research
into such Environmental problems on his own without having to
push for other Scientist to take such life altering risks.
Al gore knows how to push the pressing issues politically to the
government, but David Suzuki can globally reach out to the people
for a greater mutual understanding to bring power to the people to
stand up for the environment everyday while bringing peaceful
protest to address issues to various governments.
Al Gore did help inform the public on a wide scale through his
Documentary, but he made one movie, David Suzuki has claimed the
title as a broadcaster through many series of different multi media
forms of address such issues to the world.
The choice is clear as to whom has made a greater impact on
the world. David Suzuki has gone the extra mile for the
Environment specifically and has been doing so consistently since
1991. David Suzukis initiatives for his own Foundation and many
other organizations have reached out to people on a global scale

Reasons why David Suzuki is a leading Environmentalist

in the World
David Suzuki has put forth so many good ideas that are both publically accomplishable and
politically demanding for the better and greater good of all humans, wildlife, and the livelihood of all
living beings on the planet.
Along with all lifeforms of this planet, David Suzuki has made it a point to
Land;

protect our Air, Water and

Less pollution; Reduce your carbon footprint, Prevention of oil spills and the littering that lingers
across our land and on the bottom of our oceans.
Promotionally providing a various range of information for gained understanding of the repercussions
of our simple daily actions that lead to vast monumental situations such as the realities of Global
Warming, Depletion of Species, the need and right for CLEAN fresh Air, CLEAN drinkable water, and
CLEAN healthy land for CLEAN healthy food.

Events

The David Suzuki Foundation has united with many other organizations this
past Sunday, November 29th, 2015 to unite Canadians to March. The March was
in efforts to vocalize and visualize the growing consensus that we must get to a
100% clean energy economy by 2050 in order to stop the worst impacts of
climate change, the want and need for humans impact through everyday
luxuries on climate change to be taken into serious consideration at the UN
Climate Summit in Paris. The hope is to have Clean, renewable energy [that]
creates electricity using natural systems such as the wind, sun, and water
harnessing that energy to power cars, heat homes, and sustain communities
without harmful GHGs.
Cities, states, companies, and countries all over the world are increasing their
supply of clean energy and phasing out coal and oil, faster than you can
imagine. They are building clean energy infrastructure, creating jobs, and
reducing their dependency on fossil fuels.
It is no longer technology that stands in our way. Thats why we call on
Canadas federal government to take the following actions to get us to a 100%
clean economy by 2050.
