INTRODUCTION
Logic Gates
Logic gates are primarily implemented using diodes or transistors acting
as electronic switches. This circuit is composed of NOT, AND and OR logic gates
loaded on the PSOC.
DC Motor
DC motor is an electrical machine that converts direct current to
mechanical power. Its operation is based on simple electromagnetism. Its
function will depend on how the current flows through its poles. It can be driven
reversed or forward.
H - Bridge
H-bridge is an electronic circuit that can allow the current to flow into two
directions, which can drive a motor forward and reverse. It consists of four
transistors and four diodes that manipulate the flow of current and it also have
two inputs.
Flag Pole
The flagpole is controlled by the DC motor which depends on its rotation,
whether forward or reverse. The flagpole will rise when the motor is on reverse
then it will return to the bottom.
OPERATION
Upon turning on the circuit, the flag will go down and stop until the flag is
on the bottom part of the flagpole.
If sw3 is HIGH and sw2 is LOW the flag will go up.
If sw4 is HIGH and sw1 is LOW the flag will go down.
If sw3 and sw4 is both HIGH, the flag will not move.
If sw1 is HIGH the flag will not go down.
If sw2 is HIGH the flag will not go up.
