Purpose
The purpose for the original set of attached graphics is to show how teachers
can use primary sources, copies of primary sources and student work to promote a
positive and welcome learning environment. Use of images such as these will help to
increase student involvement in the classroom and build interest and real-world ties to
the topics discussed in class.
Audience
The intended audience for the set of graphics is other teachers that are looking
for way to integrate primary sources, or just history, into their classrooms. Teachers
that fit into this category will be from a variety of ages; from first year teachers, to
near-retirement teachers. Teachers from subject-areas other than history could also
apply the information and skills shown in the graphics collection.
Process
Microsoft and Windows tools were used for all photo editing needs. Photos can

Use a camera or cellular/portable device to take a picture.


Upload picture to computer.
Save image as jpeg file to predetermined folder or file.

Adjust the picture as desired to focus on a certain side or zoom.
